Another example of how boring this country has become at sporting events.
I'll be shopping for a gas mask just in case they target the collingwood cheersquad this season.

| Joffa as another spectator at the event, it could not have happened to a nicer bunch of losers. I am sick and tired of going to an event of any kind when clearly a small minority are only there to cause trouble and are not actually interested in the event at all. Forget the mace just shoot the *uckers. |

Watching the Australian Open the other day... I pretty much always support the Australian player, but the idiots in the stands were making that a little difficult on this occasion.
Why do our fans have to be such morons at times?

they weren't 'our' fans, they were fans of the Greek player and even if they were 5th generation australian, they took their greek heritage as their main nationality.

i don't think david is referring to the greek fans.
i ask the same question as david. a lot of sheep mentality. very little individualism, young people wearing yellow hat and flags draped around them like capes were a dime a dozen.
on monday i was watching casey dellacqua on court three and cringed every time aussie, aussie, aussie was chanted at the change of ends. it really does become boorish behaviour.
