I agree Music can Tell the story of the Movie as just as much as the actors do.
I might see it on DVD but I am not getting out of my way to see it at the Theater

i saw it i didnt know it was more a musical
im like wtf wen it started.
thought it was jus a movie bout a murderer
walked out saying WOW that was AWESOME i love johnny depp too  |

From all reports it was stiff to miss out on a best picture oscar nomination.
Haven't seen it myself, but Burton/Depp is usually a pretty good combination, so I might check it out.

totally agree about Burtin/Depp combo. And Depp on his own is pretty damn good too.
Had heard it was a musical and looking forward to seeing it.
Off to spamalot this evening though
