Just make sure you read the comments to make sure they are the real deal.
Also, a movie that claims to be a DVD rip from something that hasn't even been released at the cinemas is 99% likely to be fake as well.
For video, only download files with the extensions .avi, .mpg, .mkv, avoid .rar and .zip as these are usually fake or have a password. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

DTM I know they have passwords, my advice was to AVOID them. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

Dave, you can't tell if they have passwords or not.... that is why I wouldn't waste my time downloading any .zip or .rar file.
I also use the website www.torrentz.com , because it has useful comments that can be read to make sure that the file is actually what it says it is. The search engine also accesses several different torrents sites during the search. The only restriction it has is that it cannot search porn (if that's what you are after). _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

Sadly not everything is foolproof, that is why it pays to view the comments on a file as well.
Who knows what motivates these guys to seed fake files but it is rampant at the moment - Some rumours are that it's the MPAA/Music industries doing it so people give up on torrents. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

I use isohunt.com that has no Comments but I might use the site you gave out.
Would not suprise me if the MPAA are doing this to try and stop the Casual Downloader's. Just like what happend with kazza.
I use Direct Download Forum using Rapidshare and Megaupload to download the Content. I just use torrents now and again _________________ I am Da Man |

I'm all for people getting a little free content, I reckon most people do it.
Can't have it all your way though, the risk of spam and viruses is the price you pay for attempting to download copyrighted material (assuming of course that is what you're doing).
Not pointing the finger here, like I said, most people do it, doesn't concern me.
If you have a problem with it, pay for it
BTW, I reckon bit torrents are much better than limewire or kazaa etc., those programs are infested _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |
