So I have finally moved, spent all of Friday in the van on the way up from Hobart to Queenstown...during that we almost hit a Wallaby and when we stopped for petrol in Tarraleah a big Kangaroo. And this was not a small bugger no way! It was a big one that almost lost it's tail!

Somewhere before Derwent Bridge we came across 2 possums having a meet and greet session in the middle of the road one escaped the other sat there and admired the the headlights...

I hope he got across the road and was not run over....a bit down the road a dead animal was on the road and well his corpse became apart of the vans wheels not on purpose but when you have a trailer on the van it's hard to move...

We stopped off in Tarraleah as above says and got some petrol, fog everywhere and then on the way back down the hill a big Forester Kangaroo jumps out from nowhere and only just survived to tell his friends the story.

Then it was just miles of road and fog and rain....and that is all that it has done in Queenstown since I've been here.

Hah sounds like it, the King River has been getting filled back up, when we came here a month ago it wasn't flowing now it is. Some places on the Coast looked like it needed some rain so we brought the rain. Mr. Green

Aside from a cold I am all good here, haven't had much to do went and saw the shopping centre yesterday and met the woman there and we are now almost completely transformed into Queenstownians.

Thanks Smile

I am sure I can survive the small town of Queenstown....though I hate the idea of their team being called The Queenstown Crows....I really need to work on this one.

Hopefully someone can point out they'd be better as Magpies. Wink

Sadly there isn't. Sad

I feel ripped off by that I went to the General Store on Saturday and there was no porch, and no banjo! I was disappointed.....my parents went to leave to goto Hobart and they were snowed in this morning... Laughing They left an hour later then expected.
