Murray, I don't THINK that everyone who plays for the Maggies is a champion...I KNOW they are. They were the best player in their club, the best in their town, the best in their district. We drafted them because they showed they could play. They were in the top 100.
Guts, determination, training, commitment is what it takes to get better and better. These guys are the elite.
We as true blue supporters can lift them to greater heights by supporting them with passion, and especially when they are down. If they don't shape up, it'll only be through injury, or just maybe a lack of heart...then unfortunately we wave adios, but with sadness and regret, and only at the *end* of the year. In the meantime they are ours.

I've never been a fan of McKee's, but you must give credit where it's due. His last few weeks have bee very good - not outstanding, but very good. We do need him to keep this up to be a real finals force; not because he will win matches for us but because him holding down ruck enables Rocca to be used both as forward and ruck (he does his best damage in combination) and Fraser as a premanent forward.

In 4 years time josh fraser and guy richards will be the preminent ruck duo in the Afl. no team in the Afl will be able to match them.

Someone told me today that Primus was 'nothing much' when he played for Fitzroy. Now he's a captain and the #1 ruck powerhouse in the afl. Anyone know of the background of Primus? If it is true of his ordinary beginnings, it's a good example of player growth and development.
