Actually 7 votes, not 9 and yes, that's frigging close.

And don't knock the Avatar Tess, plenty of people put up their own image as an avatar, mine's pretty accurate don't you think? Wink

AEC saying that there would have to be a "compelling" argument for them to do a recount.
Also thye have stated that the votes have already been counted twice.

The printing glitch was on the Liberal how to vote cards. Not grounds for the AEC do do anything at all.
The AEC have found 2 more votes. The gap is now 5 votes.

and now she's won by 12 votes. If they got it wrong the first time, chances are they've got it wrong again.

So perhaps it's just the primary's that she won on, you still need to take the preferences into consideration as we have a 2 party preferred system.
