You've got to feel for the guy in the article, regardless of how stupid he might have been... he's fallen foul of an inconsistency in the system and been stuck with the consequences.
Tess, can you dig up any psychological fact that a father is better for the development of a child than two mothers? Especially in this case, where the couple (that you suggest should challenge for custody) have had no part in the children's life so far? |
So liberal when it comes to an issue that matters to a close friend of yours...
Maybe all I need to do for you to be a revolutionary is to make you friends with people from the various minority groups and the working class being oppressed by capitalism!

I think it's true that we hold stronger opinions on matters that affect us and those close to us, but really this is more just a case of my eyes being opened to the insanity and irrationality of society's views on certain subjects.
I hope I never forgo rationality in favour of emotionalism.
