If you want to get fitter, just go for a walk. I go out and play every now and then and the number of people using motorised buggies is unreal.
Those who do walk go so bloody slowly you can hear their arteries harden.

I used to go and fetch the balls at the local golf course when they flew off into the trees or over the highway, we have a highway near the course need my place..
I used to fight a lot of balls left by golfers tried to sell them back to the club, they didn't wanna so I just kept a bunch of lost balls and now all I have isna 9 iron...so I cannot really play golf.

Last week, I emailed the Sunrise program after the "team" got stuck into the ABC for delaying the netball World Championship.
Here's an extract;

Here's the reply from Mark Beretta;

How could the ABC not show the World Championship LIVE?? Beyond me! This morning we'll get the ratings and I bet you'll find that it was the ABC's most watched program, and if they'd shown it live it would have earned an even bigger audience.
We're not perfect I know, but when it comes to events of national significance, then they should be seen live.
