Yep works out at about $70.00 p/day. And yes I was gobsmacked as well.

Make up 5 children 2 in full time study and earning between $45-55K.

Mate he isn't alone in that though.....try figuring out what a divorced single mother with 3 children makes even if they have a part time job that gross's say around $300/week.(around 2 days a week work) and has one child in day care full time, and receives maintenance...No wonder they want more babies!
