I don't do Myspace or facebook. I have zero interest in trawling other peoples lives or putting my life up for display and approval.

Here and Big Footy is the closest thing to a chat room I go to.

I release a limited amount of personal information on here because anyone with an interent connection can read every board except the bored board and therefore you never know who might be reading your personal info.

The computer is in the lounge room and I can see the acreen from where I sit watching TV. When my kids were here, I'd limit the amount of time they spent on the internet to 30 mintes to an hour at a time, and not every day. They mainly used to chat on MSM messenger and I always used to check who they were chatting to. If anyone they didn't know had tried to add themselves, I made them delete them and block contact.

Its just a tool for research, information and entertainment for mine.

Oh and I can pay my bills while sitting at my desk.
