Possible new job prospects in Tasmania 2008 and onwards

On the way to looking at a place to live at Midway Point today I saw some new buildings getting built towards the Hobart International Airport...It seems there will be a new Harvey Norman and an Aurora Energy Call Centre plus there is also a few new developments at Cambridge.

Plus a new Shopping Centre will be built towards the Hobart Airport as well, which will make shopping for those in the Midway Point, Cambridge, Richmond and Sorell areas a whole lot easier.

Though the point of the shopping Centre was to entice new visitors to Tasmania to spend up their money before even entering Hobart. Since there are no shopping venues once you make it to the airport unless you go and buy some oysters at Barilla Bay.

Though I hear there are a few objecting to the new development of a Shopping complex near the Airport, I see nothing wrong with it...since there is nothing but bush and a small airport followed by the actual Airport.

So I guess there are going to be some brightsides to Southern Tasmania soon...I wonder if there will then be a hotel built in the area as well...
