oh David, i didn't realise you were an American. In Australia (and the UK) we call them airoplanes, not airplanes. |
Actually, I think that might be "Aeroplanes." |
lol, i was having a moment when i wrote it and thought it looked wrong _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable? To be honest I didn't think anybody used the word aeroplane any more _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I've been to Hawaii & the Caribbean on a cruise. Both great places for a holiday. Why don't you go on a cruise?
We cruised on a ship called Monarch Of The Seas, had the best time & met some lovely people too, we still keep in touch actually. _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

I agree, kind of... but more on the front of TV shows and music, and most crucially, movies. I love films, but 95% of the crap coming out of America (Hollywood) at the moment is barely watchable.
In my DVD store, several Australian movies have been placed in the 'special interest' section usually reserved for 'foreign' movies. Somewhat ironic, I would have thought. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

the key thing for the uk is to be able to prove you can support yourself. the uk high commission usually have an info night twice a year so check that out.
i did a little research as i was thinking of heading over to london before coming to melbourne and there's heaps to think about. bank accounts can be easy to set up if you pay a fee. renting accommodation is based on written references. it's not that easy unless you have an eu or british passport. luckily i have the latter so can stay as long as i want at my age.
there are some good sites on the web that tell you what you need, can't remember them right now but will post the links if i find them.
maybe a good way to see the world and earn money is the cruise ships. i have a heap of mates from my casino days who went to work the ships and have come back a bit more worldy and a lot of cash in the bank. get some p/t work at the casino, learn how to deal blackjack, roulette and baccarat then head off after about 6-12 months. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Same as touring Australia mate. Depends where you want to go, where you want to stay and what you plan on eating.
Having never been there, I'd guess at minimum $3k if you stay in el cheapo places and prepare your own food most meals. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
