Have you ever experienced a stroke of good fortune, a near miss or a kind gesture that has made you feel really lucky?

I backed the wrong horse in the Caulfield cup about 6 or so years ago and it won. Didn't know I'd backed it until I went to toss my tickets out after the race, checked them and saw the name Diatribe and thought, Hmmm I didn't back that, I backed Freemason...

Anyway, put on number 5 instead of 4 or something like that. And wha la, about 200 odd jumped in.

ALso on two occasions I have taken $50 out of an ATM and got $100. Both times it didn't come out of my account. The money was stuck together. Brilliant!

115,705 today. who has the cup telecast? is it no longer ten? thought seven's coverage today was ok.

Seven does the cup carnival, but 9 does the Caulfield/Moonee Valley Carnival. The 9 sports team is much better. 7's staff are nuffy's when it comes to racing. Only two who know anything and one of them wont give too much away.

Bruce McAvaney is old news. They need a new anchor for mine. But that's just my opinion. He should stick to football.

I meant to put quaddie on for Bulli greys one day, which is "C" greys, or country nsw greys for all those not too familiar with TAB, put it on for sydney greys instead and collected for 2534.85 the next day, would have missed 3 out of 4 legs at bulli....handy result.

It's been a while Dave. I had a good run last year that started when i dropped a dollar in a pokie and pulled out 800 then assed a couple of trifecta's in the same week for a nice return, but been a bit dry since mate. Hoping for a rails run luck wise this week Very Happy

Everytime I've dicked up a bet it's gone pear shaped, gotta know it's your lucky day when a misplaced bet gets up. Good work peeps.
