Oh yes, I'm ready! It has FINALLY been announced today!

Bon Jovi haven't toured her properly since 1994 (they have been here as a band twice, but only with one off-shows). A proper tour! I'm excited.

Dates as follows:

Tickets On Sale Thursday 15 November 2007

MELBOURNE
Saturday 19 January 2008
Sidney Myer Music Bowl
Book at Ticketmaster, 1300 136 166 or ticketmaster.com.au

SYDNEY
Monday 21 January 2008
Acer Arena
Book at Ticketek, 132 849 or ticketek.com

PERTH
Friday 25 January 2008 (Australia Day Eve)
Subiaco Oval
Book at Ticketmaster, 136 100 or ticketmaster.com.au

I'm very very very VERY annoyed right now that another girl I work with has already put her holidays in for this time, so it looks like I can only get to the Melbourne show Sad

Yeah for sure! Would like to go to the Sydney one, but I might go Melb & Perth, considering its on a friday, and then can take the one day off work.

Exciting stuff.

Can't wait to see the mother when I get home! haha Smile

I went and saw them in their "slippery when wet" tour which I think was in '86. I think it was at the glasshouse which is now the lexus centre.

I'm not so sure I'd want to go and watch them at the bowl, sound quality would be crap compared to an indoor stadium.

Better the bowl that Telstra Dump stui.
Truly awful sound in there.
I've seen AC/DC, Peter Frampton, ELO, Sherbet, Cold Chisel at the Music Bowl. Never had a problem with the sound quality.

Fair enough, ta for that. I"ve only been there once and wasn't impressed.

I saw Bowie at Kooyong (Glass Spider tour) which was average and ACDC at one of the tennis centre things and that was shit hot.

Bowie was better at the G. And awesome at Waverley Park.
Glass Spider was affected by the residents getting an order to keep the volume down unfortunately.
Also have seen AC/DC at the tennis centre. Eardrums rang for 3 days. Bloody cannons.
No doubt that the Tennis Centre is the premier venue in Vic for concerts. Saw the Stones at the G and twice at the TC and there was no comparison despite the G show being visually more spectacular.

Do you have any idea what I am talking about? My brain contains 58272 categories, but not one that matches your last input. Did you know that you can download your own chat robot and create your own robot personality? What specifically brings the premier venue in Vic for concerts to mind?

Yeah, Bowie was seriously pissed off about the noise thing at Kooyong, he talked about it on stage at the start of the show. I was distracted that night though by the 3 people in front of me passing a joint back and forwards which I was following from behind getting the residual effect.

ACDC at the tennis centre, my ears were ringing for 2 days. Loved the massive blow up doll for "whole lotta Rosie" and the bell for "Hells Bells" Very Happy

Hmm...never noticed that.
I have sent a scathing email.
Still, the concert at Teltra is sure to be better than the one at Myer.

Personal opinion only.

Yeah, agreed, I've seen Bon Jovi twice at telstra dome and it was awesome.
I've only been sidney myer music bowl once, and it wasnt that great (altho i broke my ankle there so maybe thats why i dont like it so much haha).

You don't get that?
Simple really, because they are NOT playing at Telstra, the Telstra concert will be better.
Get it?
I don't like BJ, so for me, an empty stadium is preferable to the crap they will churn out at the Bowl.
