Thanks Dave. He'll fly but he's still got alot of growing to do. I see full size magpies in the park still being fed by their mothers, you can tell they're still chicks cos the chest is still grey. He's got to grow a fair bit yet and get his adult feathers. Considering I've had him for nearly a month, he must have been pretty young when I found him.

That skinny looking German Shephard in that last photo frightens me. Looks like he is suffering from malnutrition and might want to swap the ball for some mag-pie. Laughing

LOL, I frigged it up when I resized it.

The Nuffmeister is doing well.

Had the kids over for a while on Saturday and he wasn't impressed. Let him out and he hid in the garden.

He's definitely got better at picking food up off the ground for himself. Leaving him alone with food on the bottom of the cage while I'm out for the day has helped.

he's getting quite independant and doesn't like being picked up, which is good but annoying, but still follows me around the yard like a dog or goes in the garden, scrathes, lays on a rock in the sun then chases me again.

I should have taken a photo of him yesterday after I squirted him with the hose. Punk Nuffy. Wink

Unfortunate news, sorry to have to pass this on.

Nuffy is no more. Sad

I fed him this morning and left the cage door open so he could get out, which he did. I watched him for a while roaming around the yard and figured he'd be OK, so came inside to check my emails etc.

Went back out after about 20 minutes, Nuffy was floating face down in the dogs bath. Drowned.

Silly bugger must have hopped in to have a splash, not realising it's way too deep to stand up in, and couldn't get out. Bugger.

The German Shephard knew what was up, he was fizzing around me as soon as I walked out and kept running back looking in the bath. If he had something to do with it, he would have hid in the far back of his kennel the second I walked down the stairs.

Sorry Nuffy. I hope at least the month or so I kept you was better than being eaten by a cat or dog back then. Crying or Very sad

Yeah. What time is it there? What's your sign? Did you know that you can download your own chat robot and create your own robot personality? I only hear that type of response less than five percent of the time.
