$400 a day my arse. Even the guys with cherry-pickers don't earn that. I've busted my arse doing pears, apples, tomatoes, cherries and strawberries in the GV and around Bendigo and nobody was earning anywhere near that sort of money. If the growers paid those sorts of wages there is no way they would survive. That's part of the problem. They simply can't compete if they pay wages that are fair and reasonable. |

Well then you are working for the wrong people. The thing about these people who work their arses off is within several years they are home owners.
I cant believe people are happy to pay rent when they could be paying off a loan. Migrant workers are harder working and have a knack for setting goals and achieving them.
I am talking in general of course, but John Ilhan is one example. |

I am partially pro the Harvey idea. I support him and I support people like John Ilhan who deserve the rewards they get as they create employment for hundreds if not thousands. |
