Just came out of a meeting and went to check if McGough had won.

Pathetic, just like last season where week in week out it was "there's is that great kid coming up for the Magpies" and the nomination goes to a bl***y Saint, Hawk etc.

youve got to be kidding me
syd vs stkilda was the worst match ive ever seen
how can mcgough miss out again?
dont you have to have played less than 10 games?
im sure riedwoldt has played more than that
and by the way thanks to those useless bulldogs whos pissweak goalicking cost my mate $2000 in the tipstar tip 8 comp

Riewoldt only played three or four games last year

13 kicks 4 handballs and 12 marks plus 3 tackles against the Swans

Not bad for an 18 year old at CHB - a key position in a close game.

Good thing Riewoldt didn't have to play against a team which had Hird, Caracella, Mercuri, Johnson, Misiti, just to name a few against him......

The jokers at the AFL make me laugh. Wouldn't know shit if they were standing in it. Maybe the losers are trying to prop up the 'ailing' clubs........... Well Geelong and StKilda can get thucked and so can the guys at the AFL, the morons. McGough is the outstanding talent and has been for the last two weeks... we know and the AFL know it..... But as usual the pies have to live with it .......Well come on stinky.. show these dickheads why u should be the choice..... and then let the fools choose another loser from another loser club.. We don't care.... We are COLLINGWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made this point in a post about this on FTO a week ago.....ask any player, rising star award or 4 points...no brainer really. If it comes along, well done, but its a glorified add for an insurance company....just a bonus. The only award MCG and anyone else wants above all others is to hear the cheers of the faithful they get after another big Magpie win. All we really want is 4 points each week, and the only judge to impress is MM for doing the job they were set.

... and to justify it with "Nick Riewoldt" held down centre half back was a load of crap.

Suck Kilda had about 4 centre half backs on Saturday night, and none of them (Nick included) were good enough from stopping the Swannettes kicking three goals in three minutes to snatch the game! So he was one of lots, in a non winning game! How could he have been a standout?

Rule 1. Barrack for Collingwood
Rule 2. See rule 1.
Rule 3. There is no rule 3.

Rienwolt won bog in that game did he? Good on him, he won bog in a game where th eskills were at about under 13 level. It was a joke. I could've got a nomination for that game. McGough would've kicked more goals than both teams combined did that night.

Gige it to the kid who played well against quality oppositin, not the one who played ok against crap opposition.

(they felt sorry for him cause he was clearly their best player, and if they had've won they would've had him to tank for it. In the end his teamamtes stuffed it up for him)

Pies for Premiers 2002, 3, 4, 5, 6....
