25% of the ticket value going to the ticket seller. Surely they can see that vast amounts of money is disappearing from the footy pie, and going straight into a corporations pockets.
I wonder how long we have signed up exclusively with TicketMaster? And who did get the kickback for that deal?

Is it 25%?
If that is right, I think the AFL have yet again done a pathetic job of negotiation. It would be cheaper to seel all tickets at the ground. You are right, it is money lost to footy when clubs are broke. Perhaps the AFL should set up their own internet and telephone ticket service. They could use the commission to fund football development and not have to redistribute funds like they presently do.
