Just on Ten News they said that police have found a babies body in the toilets, didn't catch where they expect that the body has been there for a week...they think it's a full term baby but they are unsure...

What is on Ten News they said that police found a babies body in the toilets didn't catch where they expect that the body was there for a week like on Ten News they said that police found a babies body in the toilets didn't catch where they expect that the body was there for a week.

Could be, DTM, or it could have died in birth or something like that I guess that is for the corner to find out. Still pretty bad that a baby would be left there dead or not.

It could speak about the mothers state of mind if it was a teen mother that gave birth, not much to really go on right now though.

Not far from where I work, and just across the road from where someone was shot in the early hours of sunday morning.

Haven't heard circumstances as yet, but I do hope the mum is ok.

It makes me feel so sad that an expectant mother feels she has no where to turn and thinks this is the only way out for her.
Our society still has a lot of work to do

That's awful. Maybe the baby was stillborn, and the mother was too upset to do anything? But how could she end up in a situation in the first place where she had to give birth in a toilet?

Very upsetting.

1/. It's being said that the body may have been there for at least a week. I'm sorry, but WTF do the cleaners actually do at this place?

2/. Has anyone thought that it may have been the end product of a rape?

geez Dave a lot of conjecture there.

From what I know of pregnancy, it couldn't be that easy to hide it when you're 7 or 8 months pregnant.

I also feel for the poor person who found it, I know I'd find it very traumatising.

The body was left in a sanity bin, which are not changed every day.

We don't know the age of this baby, or whether it was full term, or still born, or perhaps a miscarrige. I don't know as to what stage of pregnancy when a birth is referred to as a miscarrige or stillborn. There are no reports yet as to whether the baby was alive or already dead when left in the toliets.

Such a very very sad story. I hope the mum is ok.
