hmmmm. Can run and have a bounce. Kicking looks effective but we'll wait and see. Did we see him handball?

He backs his pace which is good and though his left foot is not great he does look to deliver as his first option

Liked what I saw on the video - has a go and is willing to back himself.

To make the TAC team of the year is no mean feat, so a pick in the 70s is an absolute steal!

Worth pick 73, must remember no one else was interested in bidding for him. We have a good development team and anything can happen as we saw this year by the amount of first gamers we had.

Oh how I hope he is even half as good as his old man! I remember watching the long-haired winger like it was yesterday. Some of his outings in our many finals in that era were nothing short of spectacular. He took speccies, kicked goals from full back, and ran like the wind. Stuff going down the corridor when Ricky was screaming round the fence!

Looks like a few of us were at that debut game, what a revelation! Especially after the unutterable heartbreak of '76...BRRRRRRZzzHHH!! I dont even like typing those numbers! I was only 12 but it was like a bad dream. Ricky typified the massive changes under our first 'foreign' coach, and the great times (and searing pain) that followed. Certainly didn't get bored as a magpie back then!

You know Dave... thats not such a far fetched statement... his evasive shimmy & pace over the first 5m reminded me of the J-man as well. UGH now I'm thinking DTM-style. :p

Don't get stressed, Drake, I thought the same thing.

Similar body shape and speed and when he gets the ball in traffic, he seems to shimmy his way out before putting the pedal down.

Who needs Judd? We've got the second coming of the racehorse. Wink
