My car lights are hard wired to the ignition and are always on when the car is running. _________________ Genesis 1:1 |

If it's a dull/gloomy day. Then yes, road safety hazards is the reason. Probably the same reason as to why 'Car Dealers' leave their enormous illuminated signs switched to ON (all) night, to avoid accidents.
Also, in the outback. Even if it's a nice sunny day, I'll have the lights on, for road safety hazards, ofcourse. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

I rarely use them during the day, except when travelling through the Country, I use my fog lights when travelling the country roads at night, very rarely use them otherwise, but it seems anyone who has them has to have them on all the time
The thing that annoys me is people who insist on driving with high beams even on well lit streets, then there are the real assholes who dont turn them down when approaching
One final thing on lights, I am amazed at how many cars there are around with just 1 light working, some seem to also put their 1 working light on high beam, One car I saw had 1 working light and 1 working fog light on opposites sides |

Lights on feature for cars is from Sweden where there is less daylight. Motorcycles were made to have lights on to stand out during the day, if we have cars with them on as well it defeats the pourpose. Then we have the other problem, with wankers with their look at me lights on. |

It has been proven to reduce accidents although even in my BIG Nissan with the lights blazing I still could have sworn I was invisible at times.
Cars don't kill people, stupid people kill people! | what about the cars with the turbo's in them where the engine doesn't turn off till about a minute later |
