Post subject: Climate Change proponents & skeptics welcome | |
|
I've started a Climate Action network website/bulletin board at: www.kyoglecan.com
KyogleCAN! is a climate change study & action group. Kyogle is my local town, in the Northern Rivers area of NSW.
Whatever you think about the issue and related issues, drop in and check it out. Join up if you'd like to participate. Same setup as Nick's so free and easy to join and use.
ALL opinions are welcome - be you totally in agreement that human activities are the cause of global warming or think it's a load of rubbish. I encourage robust debate.
It's certainly not a 'doom & gloom' site. As our blurb indicates, "The forums are for discussion, debate, information sharing and attacking issues on the subject with positive and constructive intent."
Forums include: We're all in this Together, Act Now!, Other CAGs (climate action groups), Photos of this amazing Planet, Words to Inspire (Songs, quotes etc.) and Links.
Let's hear ya !! _________________ Donny.

Mate, there are 780 articles posted so far and 283 are mine. I'm looking for less input, not more.
We're gaining momentum. It's a public forum and these things take time to get rolling. Drop in and post something. _________________ Donny.

Might be a good idea, get some debate happening...
I'm a member of the site but haven't posted yet. I've got to say I'm impressed with the web design (I'm jealous Donny, I'm still trying to work out how to do the most simple HTML ), and there are some truly beautiful pictures there if you look through the forums.
My problem is that I have no real opinion on climate change. But that, of course, should be an even better reason to find out more information about it. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Ah, not quite. Of course there is climate change. The planet is 5 billion years old and has had 3 different atmospheres, the climate has and will constantly change.
Ice ages will come and go just as species will ( the average existance of a species is 1 million years).
For man to think he can 'control' the climate is ignorance beyond belief. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |
