First Damo is evicted from Big Brother. Then Triple H loses his title to Hulk Hogan. Now this????

WHAT KIND OF A WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN????

I hope bad things really do come in only 3's.

Colours are an illusion. There is only black and white.

it's ok to make a mistake, just don't make the same mistake twice.

The AFL buggers it up again.

Magpies lose Tarrant appeal
8:46:45 PM Tue 23 April, 2002
afl.com.au

Collingwood tonight lost its appeal against Chris Tarrant's two-match suspension for striking.

The Magpies were desperate to have their forward available for the Anzac Day clash against Essendon but the AFL Appeals Board decided the evidence presented tonight was essentially the same as last night's tribunal hearing.

Tarrant was suspended for striking Hawthorn’s Mark Graham solely on reporting umpire Martin Ellis’ evidence for a behind-the-play incident that was not captured on video.

This was despite contrary evidence from five players – Tarrant, Graham and Magpies Nick Davis and Anthony Rocca and Hawthorn full-back Jonathan Hay – that Tarrant had merely tried to block Graham.

However Ellis, who reported Tarrant immediately, said the Collingwood forward had struck Graham with a right forearm to the head with video footage only showing the veteran Hawk defender lying on the ground with the ball about 30 metres away.

WHAT GARBAGE!
