The Phantom Of The Opera

So i went last nite to this play at the Princes Theatre.

It was a bday present for my girlfriend cos she really really wanted to see it.

Im not a theatre person i love my rock gigs etc.

But i have to say it was pretty good.

The singing is good ( not my style but you gotta give it to them there very good at what they do)

The acting is good too.

But the thing that i loved what the SPECIAL EFFECTS, they were awesome.

Just little things like a chandelier lighting up and falling from the roof down to the stage and little things like the Fog and candles coming up from the grond and the phantom sits on a chair then puts a blanket on him and actually disappears im like WTF!?!?! where did he go.

Yeah just thought id like to share that with you.
I could go on a bit longer but im too pumped about the Pies Game Tonight against WCE
GO PIES!!

EDIT: the orchestra/musicians are really excellent too.

Been there, done that. Last time it was in town.
You are right, a very, very good show.

I'm off to see War of The Worlds next Saturday night. It should be good also. I do have my doubts on Shannon Noll as the vicar though!
