Quote:
MORE than 1100 individual employment contracts scrutinised for fairness by the Government's workplace watchdog failed because they cut basic award conditions.

showed employers were still trying to undercut awards in 15 per cent of Australian workplace agreements.

The mega bucks the Howard Government has spend trying to tell us how good it is has backfired. People know what they are losing and will lose.

This is the key issue that will cost Howard the election.

People see our country getting richer because of the resources boom, yet workers are getting conditions ripped off them through workchoices.
To most workers it just doesn't make sense.

I'm confused. Isn't the fact that the government has set up a body to do the test and has caught so many (who will now have to re do the agreements to ensure they comply) a good thing? Doesn't it mean that the watchdog is doing exactly what it was meant to do rather than being, as some people implied, toothless window dressing?
