Correct there luvdids!
2009 Toour down under starts this Sunday, and on the 24th the leg starts at Aldinga. I will be down there bright and early setting up a spot and hoping to get some great photos.
I am a Tour Down under junkie, don't know many riders, but love watching the race! _________________ Kaylene.

Well, this one was pretty random but I was testing out the super close up thingo & I was sitting on the grass so..... yeah..... grass...

Do you see the blade of grass out of focus^. Next time, try and focus on the blade of grass, but you will have to get down on the ground.

Cheers luvdids, kingswood. If I take a pic that other people enjoy, then it's all worth it. But no, I'm not a professional, just a hobby for the past 2yr's. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

EBB - the cockatoo is an absolute ripper of a photo. What sort of camera do you have? I'm looking at getting a new one so that I can one day take photos like that. _________________ After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF. |

I have an Olympus E-500 digital SLR. The cockatoo was taken with a 50mm lense attached. Not exactly the ideal lense for such a photo, but I don't follow rules of photography, it's too technical.
Depending on your budget for a camera, there are plenty of good quality digital SLR's with dual lense (package deal), starting around the high $700's. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

And it's about friggin time you posted pics with your new camera. That's a nice shot. In that situation what I'd do is, sit the camera on a tripod, focus on the lamp, slide aperture to minimum 11, make sure the 'noise pollution' is turned on and use remote or timer setting.
Now with your recycling magpie story and where they end up, your scaring me. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |
