Seems more like a demented form of materialism to me, but hey you could argue they're one and the same...

It is the same mate, promoting materialism and need-production is an announced goal of capitalists (AKA companies) looking to make money.

Give this woman a medal! I LOVE YOU!!

My cousin wants to get this done, after popping out 4 kids, and being raped by her ex husband.

It's just the same as boob jobs in my opinion. I'm getting a titty lift done next year, there's nothing wrong with that.

It's costing me around $2K which I can claim almost half back on private health because I'm claiming it as a medical problem - because it will be.

I don't know what my cousin is paying, but I can imagine between $4K - $9K.

Weirdest thing I saw a while ago though, was nipple extension implants for women. A lot of porn stars get it done too. Eh, looks un-natural.

But boob jobs are almost the norm these days.

The R rated Sex industry of strippers, table top, lap dancers is huge and that is where this type of surgery would make commercial sense. A woman making $500 a night could justify spending money on her greatest asset(s) to increase her income to closer to $1000 a night.

Getting it tightened up could help launch a Ping Pong ball......

Seems to be the norm in some entertainment industries, you could take WWE for example, or some other wrestling company's (not XPW as it was run by a guy who made porn....) some of the women there that hadn't had them done have since had them done upon joining the promotion, and there are a lot there that have had it done.

To be honest I never knew why female wrestlers would need a boob job, but meh to each their own.

I wouldn't. Maybe it's just me but if I had the choice between getting around in a porsche that had the exterior of a clapped out cortina or a clapped out cortina that had the exterior of a porsche, I'd take the former.

Because the majority of female wrestlers are there to pull each others hand and be eye candy. This is partially why Lita (Amy Dumas) left the WWE in such a rush, because her, and a few others were being fed up with not being taken seriously as wrestlers. Alot of them previously have, or end up having modelling careers in the end. Big breasts are a major necessity in Hollywood these days. If you've got small tits, people will whinge about it in the media constantly.

I'm all for boob implants and plastic surgery. It's a personal choice. If the person feels better, then why not. My sister had a breast reduction from an E cup to a C cup when she was 16, because she was a size 8, and was having a major back problem due to the weight of her chest. Now she is 24 and more developed, she has grown back to a DD, and can now handle it. Also from the surgery, they actually look a lot better because the surgeon shaped them better. I used to hate my boobs, now I've grown to love them. It's probably my best asset, takes the focus away from my face, and I'd say that if I didn't have them, I'd have no self confidence whatsoever.

Culprit, it's not weird that you can claim it back. It's not claimed as 'cosmetic surgery' anymore, because reductions, tightening, etc, can be a health risk. If my sister didn't have her reduction, she would now have osteoporosis (sp?), and if I don't get my lift next year, I could grow up to have major tissue tears, because of my erm....size.

Hahaha, they look ridiculous. The 'Nun' out of the first episode of Californication had them. They look like mini whistlepops.

Call me on [snip. Don't include personal phone numbers. PM such info. - Bbmods]
