Is it possible to appoint Dimmatina full time at Williamstown or make him Captain of the reserves? I think Dimmatina has the potential to be a star at Williamstown so why halt his progress by letting him play in the seniors. I would like a quick response indicating whether people would like to see Dimma in the Collingwood Jumper or the Williamstown jumper. Personally i think the Williamstown jumper looks good on Dimma so i say let him play for Williamstown.

I am the game, you don't wanna play me
I am control, no way you can change me
I am have heavy debts, no way you can pay me
I am the pain, and I know you can't take me

Look over your shoulder, ready to run
Like a good little bitch, from a smoking gun
I am the game, and I make the rules
So move on out, and you can die like a fool
Play the game, you're gonna be the same
You're gonna change your name, you're gonna die in flames
Hahahahaha
Time to play the game!

to be honest, I hate williamstown (the club) so I don't really care what happens to it. this is because, prior to the VFL linking forces with the AFL, I supported sandringham. the zebs were fierce bayside rivals with willy; I remember with fondness when the zebs crushed willy in the '92 (?) GF when ex-pie andrew tarpey was a megastar in the side now, I can't bring myself to cheer on the zebs as they're effectively the melb reserves, but I also can't cheer on the gulls 'cos I used to hate them so much. it's a conundrum

anyways, yeah I agree JLC, dimma is more suited to the VFL than the seniors. I reckon he would be a superstar for willy!

isn't fletcher a specialist midfield coach for the seniors?

"..we flew at them as a hawk to his prey, passed through them in the disordered state in which they were, separated them into two distinct parts and then tacked upon their largest division.." -- Captain Cuthbert Collingwood, 1797

Dimmatina a crumber ?? Tell me you just didnt say that ?? I would have Damian Adkins and Alan Didak or even Richard Cole in the team first. I think Carl Steinfort should be our first choice tagger. Anyway thats just my opinion.

He may be a great bloke, I don't know, but I'm affraid that Dimma is not good enough to play senior AFL football. There isn't another AFL side that he would get a game with. The main problem I have with his playing is that so often, after he touches the ball the next player to touch it is an opposition player. He can play for willy or wagga as far as I'm concerened, as long as he doesn't play for us.

Well i haven't seen the games but he has kicked a total of 6 goals the last twow weeks for willy and most of the other best players in the twos are not on the list. Just a suggestion maybe i am getting desperate.

Dimma would have been great on Friday. He could have helped Ben Kinnear and Paul Licuria get the trifecta in kicking the ball straight to the opposition for a certain goal 30 metres out.

Great clubman, great heart, reasonable tagger but disposal skills lie at VFL level (at best). Having said that, he has a few mates in the foot skills department. I reckon we have given away 5 or 6 goals already this season by kicking to the opposition in their forward line. The play for Misiti last October looks sensible all of a sudden - he could have provided a new alternative, other than Buckley & Burns, in moving the ball forward to one of our own. The turnovers are killing us - they are undoing all the good work - and I reckon they cost us the game on Friday.

I agree Dimma would be a good mentor at Williamstown, helping bring the kids up and at a pace where he has the time to choose and execute his options.

I'm with you ,Joffa....leave Dimma alone.
Let's just hope the guy doesn't read this thread and see the "support" he's getting from some fans.
A bloke named Buckley kicked 1.4 on Friday night....let's all get up him 'cause he should have kicked five straight instead of costing us the game!!
Give me a break.
