What's the camera a major one with zoom or just a digital Camera?? I need one to take pics of the footy!!!

The camera I used for pics in this thread is a Olympus E-500 Digital (SLR) with zoom lens.
However, for footy, anything with 5megapixels or more plus 10x optical zoom or more will do nicely.
Olympus do have a standard digital camera that will do the job and then some. (7megapixels / 18xoptical zoom) $699
