Thanks Jo.
I find playing chess a bit like meditating (except it's the exact opposite).
When I'm down or confused it takes me out of myself and helps me deal with the issues life seems to plague me with.
The better I think, the better I play so I get absurdly happy when I play a good game against a good opponent.

Had some very good news todae!
Next month there is a Tv production being shot in town.
I've been talking with the head of production about using the shop in a couple of the scenes.
They came up on tuesdae, measured the door widths the light levels (and a bunch of other stuff) got the go-ahead and they start filming in early October.
I'd asked if I could get a role as an extra or least a gig lumping their gear around!
I had a word todae and it looks like I might be doing better than that getting a speaking part!
If I get the role I'll be in the shop saying "quick out the back" and/or "nar mate, they took off that way"...or some such!
I speak to casting in a couple of weeks and fingers crossed,... Cool
I'll tell more when there's more to tell!

Oh so cool! Loved the first movie xx

So how were the hookers Stui compared to the local variety?

Surely you didn't go all the way to America and not sample the local produce. Razz

Spring time. Very Happy

Out for breakfast this morning, then shopping at Bunnings to get the stuff I need to make the walk in robe in the spare room, then home and because the sun was shining made a margarita, went out the back yard and played with the dog and did some weeding in the garden. Very Happy

Went to the Thommo market this morning with the son and his GF, then the daughter shouted us all lunch at Hogs Breath in Epping for Fathers day.

Had a nice steak and ribs combo, margarita, corona and a Long island iced tea.

Got a steak mushroom and red wine casserole cooking in the crock pot for dinner, hoping the Pies lift in the second half.

Fathers Day brunch and presents!! Smile

Got a pretty awesome new beard trimmer; I hate it when it gets too bushy. A coupla millimetres longer than designer stuble is about my limit. Laughing
Plus a few awesome little hand made school/kinder presents, including a hand made "Go Collingwood" badge!

It's not unusual for a coupla millimetres than designer stuble to be.

Discovering RBF: http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2015/09/07/comment-women-resting-bitch-face-are-actually-better-communicators

Now I don't have to force myself to look happy just to make other people feel more comfortable. For now on if anyone has a go at me for looking miserable I can just say "RBF" What a tremendous relief. Sad
