What!? I'd never thought of that before, but I tried singing to him when I got home and it actually worked. It's a nice feeling. Smile

Nice one Smile

Up to 16 laps of the 50 metre pool. Moved from the slow lane to the medium lane which is where I'll be staying a while. Goal is to get to 20 comfortably. 16 was comfortable but need to do this for another week or two. Slowly getting the rhythm back.

Sounds awesome David. You will lose count after about 10,000 for the amount of times you will sing "twinkle, twinkle little star"

It can get boring so I suggest mixing it with the A,B,C song and confusing the kid.

Twinkle, twinkle little star, H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P Up above the world so high...

It happens.

A loooong time ago when my daughter was a baby (you've met her - shut up) I had to go away for work for a couple of days. The (then) wife had to get the male neighbor from across the road to come in at dinner time, stand behind the high chair and just talk otherwise she wouldn't eat.

Enjoy this and the next few years while they last, the period of time in which you are their god goes extremely quickly and you become just another silly old phuk who they have to condescend to.

Haha, good advice Stui. Very Happy

Jo, it was an improvised tune that mostly went "la-la-la-la..." etc. I wasn't feeling very articulate at that point. Wink

I used to sit my eldest in the bouncer in the middle of our bed and turn the ceiling fan on, it amused her while I had a shower!!

Me

I made me happy.

Did the stampede. My sister had to pull out so a friend of juniors came instead, she's not as fit so they did the 5klm, I skipped about a k and a half, as someone had just broken their leg on the big water slide, the queue was a mile long and they wanted me to hand my brand new GoPro to someone o hold. So I skipped a loop. So I did about 8.5 k, up and down hills I'm covered in mud, climbed through an esky of ice, got electrocuted about20 or 30 times, squirted with a fire hose, I'm totally knackered, thank god junior is old enough to drive! Cheers

Hehe, just got out the shower, put on a pair of compression pants, I feel like I've been in a boxing ring, with my hands tied and everyone taking a shot at me!

Ugh

Need alcohol, spa, and alcohol
