When this trailer first came out, my son messaged it to me. The first thing he thought of was me and his son.

this is the kind of news story that i like to see
i have a friend that is deputy head master of a primary school where over 50% of the students are refugees/immigrants. She has told me some heartbreaking, and some scary stories, but also some really heart warming ones.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-04-02/apple-african-racial-profiling-maribyrnong-college-program/8402420

surely a proactive approach like this can help the increasing problems we seem to see in the news with African youth? Maribynong college loves to give sports scholarships, be great if some of the local schools could point kids in that direction.

He doesnt have a name yet, but hes made me very happy!!

we drove all the way to Leongatha two weeks ago because a lady had a 7 month old puppy she couldnt handle, i dont know who told her he was a toy, cos he was huge, and he terrified Molly. She is intimidated by older dogs, (her dad was a bit mean!!) and She needs a friend when im not around, so i found a registered reputable breeder, and here is my new boy!! the runt of the litter!!

As it says under the photo, we drove Molly 4 hours return to leongatha to see how she would go with a seven month old that a grandmother couldn't keep up with, it was meant to be a toy, but was at least a miniature if not a standard, and he frightened the crap out of her. She is too easily intimidated by grown up dogs, (I tried with a friends very placid small dog, no go, let alone a rescue with problems) and hubby needs non shedding dogs. I've been keeping an eye out for a poodle to rescue (with the right temperament) for the last two years! Even the crook ones get snapped up. I applied for one formally, and the foster parents kept her, I was shattered, and then another I applied for I didn't get past the first interview cos of the stairs. I have no yard for anything bigger than a toy dog. So yes, I did consider it, and I tried very hard to find one. I also spoke to and rejected two people who were obviously puppy farmers, and paid for a much more expensive puppy from a reputable, registered breeder who's dogs are DNA tested as all breeding dogs should be to stamp out things like PRA (which our very first poodle had). Molly has to be my first consideration, and this puppy at least will have the best life a dog could have.

If I had the space and time I'd have a dozen dogs, but I don't.

Oh well I suppose that's why there will always be "breeders" who make their money by breeding and selling animals whilst thousands are euthanised every year Sad
