What made you happy today?

I met with the SFL today and became their official photographer, they're going to have me do all their photos, and I am going to be going to media events and the likes. The hope is that they are going to be paying me they want someone in the community to allocate their media budget too and since my photos have been good they want it to be me.

They are all happy with my work, and they are going to promote me as well, so I am going to be able to make a career with the work I am doing with the SFL. So this can be very good, going to have my details given to all clubs so this can workout well for me I hope.

I am pretty happy, also got a nice SFL jacket so I can keep warm. Laughing

Well this should be fun - have decided on the overnight train from Victoria Falls to Bulawayo - have to book a night in Bulawayo on the day of arrival as we are intending to fly from here to Cape Town and the train arrives anywhere between 4 - 7 hours late by all accounts - gotta love Africa time!! Very Happy

There may be water there may not be - but by all accounts you can always buy beer - all good then Cool

2 more sleeps! Omg I'm so excited! Only a couple of bits of paperwork to fix up for work before I can forget about it- well till we get to the hotel in griffin, Atlanta anyway! I loaded MYOB onto my mini laptop so I can send jobs to our guys and invoice customers!

Just finalising a few things, shuttles, transfers, etc. oh, and at 5pm in LA it was 25 degrees! Oh man I can't wait to warm my bones up! Cheers!

Youngest sat an LSAT on Sunday morning (8.am to ?1.30 pm) to see if she can get into a HECS funded place at Melbourne Uni for their post grad law course.

(From wiki: The LSAT is an integral part of the law school admission process in the United States, Canada, and a growing number of other countries (including Australia) . It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants).

6 x 35 minute parts, no clocks, only 600 ml of water allowed, small snacks allowed, one x 15 minute break allowed & it is highly regulated. She doesn't usually wear a watch & thought at the last minute to take one with her - as it transpired they don't supply clocks for the LSAT test rooms!

Anyway, weeks if not months of study finished & she's been working 4 days a week for nearly a year now in the court system. She won't find out till the end of the year whether she gets in or not & finds out how she did in a few weeks.

Monash is another place she is considering applying for.
