Nailed down a property, get the keys at 4:30pm tomorrow, organized connection of all my services and now feel like the weight of the world is lifted off my shoulder mixed with the need to fall in a heap and sleep for a week.

Had an amicable enough conversation with the prodigal ex and think (fingers crossed) we nutted out an agreeable custody arrangement. Still, she's nutty as a fruitcake and could turn at any time but for now it seems like my derailed train of life is back on the tracks... a little worse for wear but repairable. Laughing

Yep, stayed in Ballarat. Went and saw an Agent face to face and laid it out on the table. Luckily I was dealing with an actual human rather than a Real Estate agent Laughing He said that I presented well and it got me over the line. I deal with people a lot better than official bullshit.

Good stuff again.

Out of curiosity, what do you do for a crust when you're not being Dad? I think you've said it before but I forget.

Great news! Glad things seem to be going the right way for you. Hopefully the ex keeps her word. x

Good luck to you mate, kids grow up quickly so you want a strategy to fund the rest of your life once being a parent is no longer a full time gig.

Don't forget to include you in the equation. Wink

I love kitchenware shopping! Don't need anything, don't buy anything but look in those stores for hours!

haha, I do that in that shop House glad to know I'm not as weird as I thought Laughing . All I bought today was a Roasting pan and 3 Raco pots that were on sale at Big W, big couple of days ahead making the place liveable. Don't want to get stuck on an air bed with no TV and taking my clothes to a laundromat.

Good to read that things are on the up Wokko.

On a quite separate note, you do know that your new status as a full time arts student requires you to learn the words to "Keep the Red Flag Flying", don't you? Let me know if you need the contacts for the Balarat branch of Socialists Synonymous.
