Rain - 23 degrees and pissing down in the desert makes for a nice change to run in.

the cruze we got my eldest daughter for her 21st lacks power on take off, & has worried me since we got it. she loved her little buzz box astra, but it only had 2 air bags, so we upgraded for her. been looking for a replacement for a while, she fell in love with a VW passat, with the works! its a 2011, same as mine but with more extras, a fancy key and built in GPS. ive bid on it and won it at three seperate auctions, only to have it passed in. they ring hubby to negotiate, but hes the master! thankfully didnt have to break my babies heart, today they caved! got it for $2000 less than the reserve, its a bargain!!

and best of all the electric door locks work! shes had 2 cars, and both had faulty locks!!

I'll let her cook a couple of nights a week but other than that, I will.

Other than the fact that if I ate her cooking every night I'd be 150kg, it drives me demented that she farts around for an hour and a half to do what I can do in 30 minutes.

Can you ask him to fix his own computer and get back on here? Razz The VPT just isn't the same without him.

He's pretty busy at the moment David.
I'm sure he'll be back before round 1 kicks off.

Believe it or not, I get on well with our landlord, despite the issues here.

I empathise with him; there's a merry-go-round of confusion between the council, national law, unreasonable tenants, crap private companies, and no doubt plenty of unreasonable landlords elsewhere.

And while there are no winners in the market here at the mo, I actually find him eminently reasonable.

Great week!

Junior started her new course and loves it, she has also picked up a paid position with a ladies AFL team as a trainer, (Jamie Elliot's sister is on the team, he was at training and recognised her and said hi!)

My brother in law had some bloods run, the chemo has lowered the bad bits in his blood, so that's great news, thank God and anyone else that had a hand in it

Today did operation Blackhawk for the fourth time, lining up with about 50-60 others in our wave, and the guy that runs it double takes me and says "we've met before yeah?" "Yep" "how many is this" he says, "4". "That's all of em" he says and steps forward and shakes my hand! "Thanks for the support" I felt so special!! (No really it was cool!)

7ks a shit load of mud and bruises, I'm totally knackered! Happy knackered! And the pies are winning! Shame I have to get ready for a wedding now! Ugh, yuk! will only know immediate family, the mother of the groom (our friends) is not happy! She's a gold digger apparently! Mind you they have been together since high school, so yeah, don't think so.

Cheers, enjoy, give it all you got! Life is so much fun xxxx

So been a few days, mum has settled in and I haven't lost it yet.

She decided happily that I could cook which suits me, I like cooking, she likes cleaning so I cook and she washes up. Score.

Couple of times I've had to use the "FFS, stop, look and think" on basic stuff but she's getting the hang of it.

So far so good. Smile
