Doing some cleaning up in the spare bedroom that I'm going to convert to a walk in robe / ensuite. Found my bottle of 1990 Premiership Port. Unopened.

Also found a bottle of Great Western "Champagne" from 1988. From memory that was a gift from the hotel I stayed at the night I got married. Shocked

Considering the relationship I was expecting it would be particularly average tasting carbonated vinegar at best. Wink

Are they going to charge his family for the costs of the search?

If they do, I'll be making a donation to help them pay it.

I was just chatting to the kids cousin on Facebook Messenger and she said the kids parents are inconsolably ecstatic. I think that means they're pretty fkn happy. Interestingly he's apparently a non-verbal autistic so they'll probably never know what the hell prompted him to suddenly go off for a 4 day stroll, but I'm tipping he won't get a chance to do it again in the near future. A couple of glasses of bubbles in the Wye River pub, watching a few die hards in the surf, 17 year old and red headed chick playing pool without any fights, free WiFi. Nice way to end a few days break. And great news about that young kid being found.

Such great news especially given the weather turned today.

If they charged his parents, the backlash would break the internet and Dave wouldn't be able to download his hentai porn.

Great news about the young kid being found! Best possible outcome for him and his family.

So last night I wasn't a happy camper. That feeling persisted overnight and into the first hour or so at work today.

Then a few things started coming together.

I'm a good boss, I have a good boss and he has a good boss. I'm not game to test the blood pressure but it's not up redlining a stroke like it was last night, so things are getting there.

The ole light at the end of tunnel is showing. It's been a real long tunnel but the end is actually in sight if not in reach. Just got to stick to the program.
