Thanks Jo.

I felt like I had played the game in the last.
Had to hold back from coaching/supporting as I was scoring the whole game. At least if you barrack you can expend some of that nervous energy.

Have to go through it all again tomorrow as the 17 year olds footy team is playing in the preliminary final (and being a crazy person, I am manager for that team as well) .

Your allowed to score grand finals? Were not!

I score every other game, and coach and cheer while I do!

Only had 1 complaint, apparently the other scorer got upset when I said just quietly 'oops sucked in' when the goalie got the drop on our player, (my daughter!) she said that's not very nice, don't say stuff like that! Gees she should sit near me at the footy!

Hmmmm, Think Positive against a pack of hungry sharks?

Well I reckon putting Jo in cage is a good think for the sharks.

Have a good one T-P.

Ah of course I care about you - but that wasn't my primary concern - sorry Jo but I don't agree with such activities - chumming to attract wild animals for human entertainment I disagree with........

Like dancing bears

Like drugged tigers in Thailand

Like patting lion clubs that are then used for canned hunting

Like elephants abused for the purpose of entertaining humans

And on and on .........

Crying or Very sad

I bought a pool table for not much last week-end.
It's a modern 7 x 3.5 with full pocket drops to the head of the table.
The felt needs some work but I've done some upholstery so that shouldn't be an issue, where to put it is another matter.
I reckon I can take the king size bed from my bedroom (the mattress isn't back from the cleaners) and throw it on the hard rubbish todae and replace it with a single and a lid for the table so I can use it for a table when I'm not practicing/playing ....so brilliant!
It came with balls and cues and after I explained my strategy even the missus wasn't that upset!

I haven't played seriously for about 15 years (and never with glasses) and while I was no Minisota Fats or fast Eddy Falson I could more than hold my own on any table in any Melbourne pub.
(I played against and for Jimmy Barnes and Don Walker from Chisel for an afternoon at Macy's in Sth Yarra back in the Dae.
I'll tell that story one dae, (it's worth hearing)

If I can quote Paul Newman from the color of $$$

Cool.

I've got the pool table in the back room. Nothing like having a couple of quiet drinks and a game or two of pool in your own place.

Good movie too, colour of money. Wink

It's top cold to sleep in my bedroom (it takes at least an hour to turn on the wood fired stove) so down-sizing the bed isn't gunns mean much one wae or the other. But it does have to have a bed or it isn't my bedroom.
A place I can and put my stuff where I want to put it ...
It's a place I can go and close the door for a while.. Cool
It's full of chainsaws axes, my computer and my stereo, it's MY bedroom!

I'm really happy about this table.
I've been wanting to play competitive pool for a few years.
Now I can get my skills* back.
By skills* I mean wasted youth but your only young once so I reckon I've got that angle covered two.

Cheers hic...
