I'd love to hear your version of Arkansas Grass sometime - that's a wonderful song.

Yeh, Signs
Axiom were such a great band. Ford's Bridge is an absolute gem of a song.
TP, are you at the Springsteen show? If so, enjoy!

Ah I remember the days of a 3hr solo gig.
These days I doubt my flute would be up for it. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

As long as he did Thunder Road. That searing saxophone and telecaster riff at the end of TR is worth 20 Born in the USAs, for mine. He is one kind of genius, Bruce. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Good, gees he's got stamina! And still has the body for the muscle shirt and black jeans! Really entertaining, lots of guitar and six riffs
And yes, thunder road! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

A genuine live performer where the output exceeds the grooves in the LP.
One thing's for sure, you get your moneys worth with Springsteen.
Yes Cher, I'm looking at you

Had a little drive to the Camberwell trash and treasure market this morning. I was hanging out for a spicy Debriciner sausage with sauerkraut and hot English mustard in a crusty roll.
Went a bit heavy with the mustard which certainly cleared the sinuses.
Bought some old Disney comics. Wow, if that's the price they're getting, I've got several thousand dollars worth in the spare room.
Bought a set of cufflinks with watch faces in them. $15 for the cufflinks, $40 to get new batteries put in them at Greensie. Pretty cool. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Why can't all mods be like Magpiebat? Has such a good sense of humour when going about his job (re a locked thread about being bored in GD, some comments in feedback forum as a couple examples). Just a pleasure to be moderated by 'batmod'.
Then there's others... well, how bad do you have to be before your modding abilities are taken off 'ya'?? |

I couldn't agree more about MB – he is a natural and a really great choice for the job (I also had a good laugh at that post in the 'bored' thread). I just hope you're not including me in the 'others' category. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange

Good stuff. I'm just happy I haven't put on weight in the last month.
After being physically active over the Xmas 2 weeks, I thought back at work glued to a chair all day with almost zero exercise, I'd blimp up.
Still at 96kg. Happy with that. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I want to lose 10kg. I decided not to put too much pressure on myself and set a target of 1kg a month. Last month I started walking the Tan on Sundays, and a 3.5km walk around my neighbourhood on Tuesdays and Thursdays to begin with.
First monthly weigh in this week and I've lost 1.9kg. That's great motivation for me. The walks are getting easier every time so will increase them slowly.
Next goal is April when I'll tackle the 1000 steps. _________________ #TEAMBUCKS
