Yep, had me worried came out the blocks slow, and after that false start! Man he is awesome. He just changes gear and strides away.
Sad to say goodbye to two superstars, Phelps and Bolt.
Murray getting the Gold made me Happy too!
And Nadals reaction to the doubles gold! That's what it's all about!
Going to sleep for a week when it's over! This schedule is killing me!

What a glorious day!
Sunshine sunshine sunshine!
Actually sat out the back for a while and got a dose of vitamin D!
And hubby's 4 monthly test was again zero!
Can't ask for anything else today, I got my share!

Tomorrow I'll be doing the invites for his 60th next month, a milestone birthday that wasn't promised, so yeah, it's nice
It's been just over seven years, a long, at times, difficult scary fight so this birthday will be special.
Doing juniors 21st invites at the same time! And then I'm all partied out!
How are you going since your op? Hope everything is still good.

Boomers getting through to the quarters and me having Monday off.
Last day off I'll be getting for a while, my boss is taking 4 weeks leave and has demonstrated some seriously impaired judgement by putting me in charge while he's away. I'm going to need to really focus on my inner calm or my liver is going to take a hammering.

I contracted a serious case of this place givesmethefcknshits around 1pm today so made an executive decision and took the afternoon off!
Went and did mums shopping for her, bought a heap of lovely fresh seafood and made yummy seafood crepes for dinner - washed down with a noice bottle of Pepperjack Shiraz
Mind you my crepe making skills should be in the WTF thread - enough mixture for 10 I reckon but ended up with 2 and a very impressive mess 
Looking forward to coffee and vegimite toast in bed in the morning whilst watching the Boomers (fingers crossed) kick arse.
Oh and espero que gane Espaa 🍷

I'm recovering well thanks, I'm trying to get plenty of exercise, we have a beautiful coastal walk here, and for the last three months it's possible to watch whales and get exercise at the same time as dodging the rain. Best wishes for the big 60 celebrations! |
