Took a trailer load of crap to the tip this morning with a bit of help from the boy, then set to work on the shed with baby and MOFO.

Can't get up on the roof to take the corrugated iron off so need to bash it from underneath with Baby.

2/3rd of the tin gone, old workshop only has one wall left and I can't lift my right arm above shoulder height. Damn that iron is heavy when it's got years of dirt and leaves on it, 10cm thick in some places.

I'm tired and sore but happy.

Just got to be able to move tomorrow, I've got the hardest iron to go.

Bought a second hand pair of loud speakers. Only a few were imported to Australia from the UK. My other loudspeakers are Spendor S2's from the early 1980's.

The new ones are Mission E83 Elegant

Like these?? Gees how big is the lounge room!!

Yep, like those. I live in a small house & the speakers are quite narrow & about 1.2 meters tall I think & very stylish. Take up less space than the other speakers which are a rectangular wider box on a tubular stand but not considered big speakers.

Cheers.
cool!

Hubby picked up our new telly yesterday, we had to order it. Samsung SUHD 4K, oh man the picture on it is incredible, just watched Chicago Fire and I swear I could have walked into the tv and climbed the ladder! (The old plasma eats too much power apparently) Got a matching sound bar thing, it's awesome. And better yet the telly has a controller that picks up everything, so you can just use the one control, and it has voice control! And thankfully, the heater repair man came today, so it's toasty warm! I may not leave the couch until summer hits!

Cheers

I'm exceedingly jealous.

Let me know when you& the family are out & whether I need another person to assist with your de-cluttering.

Staying. They'll just have to cope with some weather for a month or so.

Nice one! Last time I got a free hit at a laptop, Kevin Rudd was handing out stimulus packages. Could do with a new one right now!
