Great burst-effort by Daisy, and its really sad that noone could follow his lead, because thats exactly his role in the side atm....do the spectacular to get the other boys firing. He is nowhere near developed enough yet to expect him to do a Nathan Buckley and just maintain that for 4 quarters and win the game himself in spite of the 21 other lazy bastards.

And aside from those mentioned, and Rocca, everyone else was crap. After that effort, i hope mick follows thru with his threat to pave the way for the next generation of midfielders...because even if it backfires for us (i.e. we lose again) it will be a very definitive statement to guys like Licuria, Holland, O'bree (despite being great all year), and even Burns (ditto) that you absolutely must ensure that your worst game for the year is 10x better than what they ALL put in yesterday.

The whole point Senior players get a game ahead of kids based on their reputation, is because while their best may not always be better than a super-talented rookie...the idea is that their worst is much better, and ergo they are far more stable and consistent. That wasnt the case yesterday, and none of the senior players (except those given votes) really acquitted themselves of a senior spot.

Presti and Davis can also hold their heads up high... everyone else was disappointing.

Cant believe Davis is getting votes - must be from telly - because defensively he gave too much latitude to his direct opponent through laziness - ala Rocca.

Love to know how many turnovers we caused in Richnmonds defensive half of the field.

I assure you I had made my mind up about these before reading that they were just about the same as everyone else's.

Just on Thomas... I thought he was one of our best on ground up until half-time, if not the best on ground... but to be honest I really didn't see much of him afterwards.

Then again, maybe if I saw the whole game again (not that that's going to happen) I might see it differently.
