It was obvious from Brisbane loss that we are not up to the required level just yet.

Tonight confirmed my fears and I think we are a few years away from being a genuine premiership contender.

Weve got problems in the midfield... a backline that cannot hold the bottom team to under 100 points and a forward line that is inconsistent and the most inaccurate in the AFL.

Other sides have worked us out in past month and unfortunatley, the spirit and tackling and hard running has seemed to dry up.

Looks like Lethal Leigh did his homework on us and other teams are following his lead by attacking the corridor and putting there best players forward and exposing our midfield and defensive shortcomings. eg Deledio tonight and Brennan in Brisbane game.

It will take a huge effort to turnaround this slump we are in, but Im hoping MM can get the boys up to finish the year off strongly, but the way it looks Im afraid therell be no cigar if current form persists.
