Why would they bring Licuria in? Are we tanking Shocked

And shouldn't it read Lonie (injured Heart)?

And couldn't they rest O'Bree for the rest of the season?

Keep bagging obree. But when Foley dominates us out of the clearances and O'Bree is the only one who wins it for us, you'll be thinking differently

Good to see Wellingham as an emergency.

Interesting changes - Dids is a big out, but when you think about it, it's been a while since he's made a big contribution to the team. As for Clarke and Cox, we do need to look at giving these young players a break leading up to the finals. I reckon both would have to be in the contention for a place in the 22 come September, so its better to rest them now rather than later. Can't say the absence of Lonie will make a hell of a lot of difference.

Not the most inspiring ins ever. O'Bree is a big inclusion, not sure about the others. I'm happy to see Tooves back in the side, but you do wonder exactly what he can contribute. I guess this is a good match to find out. Bryan... geez this guy must be on his last chance. Really needs to stand up tomorrow night. Not sure what Licca will add to the team at the moment.

Agreed we are not taking Richmond very seriously.

It may bite us on the bum after the way "the soleriumed Plough" got stuck into his charges after the Cats crushing win.

Richmond will be up for us infront of a national Friday night TV audiance.

Not much thinking there.

Prospects for the finals with this team line up do not look as good as they did earlier in the year.

Lucuria's career is over as good a player as he was for us and we should be looking to invest in the future.

Can't see the point in dropping Clarke, didnt think he was tiring, but im sure they know better than I.

Don't mind Toovey returning, he certainly carved the Tigers up last time, no reason why he can't do it again.

Obree is a great in, our clearance specialist. I know full well his kicking is shit, but clearances are such a critical part of footy, if he can clear the ball and handball to a player who can actually kick, (just like Scott West does) he becomes a pure clearance player, and the biggest negative of his game is eliminated. Look for Obree teaming up with Davis and Daisy quite a bit.

Lonie...well, im a bit sad to see him go because it really puts an end to a 5 year long experiment, and means we failed...what a waste of talent.

Not really sure I would have played both Licuria and Toovey at the same time. I'd retain Cox and leave Bryan out. Waste of time.

Starting to agree Licuria may not have been the best decision to make, especially considering Richmond are a youthful and quick team. Actually wouldve prefered we let Wellingham debut. We played 3 first gamers against the Tigers first time round, and all 3 were instrumental in the win.

That said...its about time we give Licuria a bit of credit. He does not deserve to be bagged. I dont like people calling him the new Woewoedin, or a plodder, etc etc....He gave his heart for this club, and will do the same this weekend. There may be better choices to include in the team, but Lica will not let us down. He will try his guts, and at worst his physical presence will intimidate the younger richmond players

Licca and Bryan in and Cox, Dids and Clarke out.
Looks like we have sacrificed speed for plodders!
