Purpose of this post is to introduce myself since I have only recently joined Nick's.

Reason: Mum was Collingwood and made sure I was too. Also lived in Brunswick in late 70's - early 80's and remembered about a dozen lads quite a few years older than me playing footy in the streets, all wearing Collingwood jumpers. Fell in love with the colours watching them and the whole world became Black N White to me! |

Get much footy coverage there? |
One game live a week on SkyTV, generally the Saturday arvo game. One hour highlights every Tuesday night at the friendly hour of 10.30.
Get nearly all finals live with the odd one delayed but it is all rugby union and league here.

Since I remember finding out about football.
reason - my dad, god rest his soul.
You know our whole family were collingwood except my nana, and she was fanatical Bombers, used to go every week until she couldn't go anymore. My two nephews were born collingwood, but peer pressure got them to the bombers in primary school, once they turned about 9 or so, we took them to a game in a corp box, young sav kicked 7 or 8 against adelaide and the both boys decided collingwood was OK. They both said if I bought them a jumper they would barrack for the pies. OUt I went and got them, one with number 36 and the other with number 5. These two jumpers have since been handed down to my QLD niece and nephew. My two melb nephews got new jumpers, put numbers 19 and 1 on them... of course we know what happened to 19, so we got new numbers, 2 and 4... of course we know what happened to number 2. But he has kept it on, lets hope Rus comes good!!! lol, we thought Tom was cursing players with his numbers. (36, 19, 2)
So in years to come, when they are on this website and they are asked these questions, perhaps we will get that story? hehehe
