Lest anyone be tempted to underestimate just how evil moving house is, I can confirm it is at least twice as evil as you recall! And I can also confirm that you have three times as much stuff as you imagine, and everything from the packing to the cleaning to the moving and unpacking will take three times longer than expected Evil or Very Mad

And, you will feel so exhausted you could fall asleep in mid-conversation whilst crossing a busy intersection!

But, so glad it's done Very Happy

People who r late

Tradies why r they always late?

Yesterday I got here at 7.45 and they got here 8.05 only 5 min late, wasn't sure they'd come since it was raining (side fence). Today I get up at 6, power Pilates done by 7.40, chuck trackies on, here at 7.55 just as the timber guy finishes chucking wood off the truck, it's fricken freezing in the old house, and oh lookie, they just rocked up and it's 8.35! Agh

People who scam their way on to the disability support pension to avoid their Newstat commitments or heaven forbid getting a job.

sat in the city library today in the quiet area doing some work. chap comes in, proceeds to raise one of the blinds (which are all down, mind you). i asked if he would care to have some courtesy and ask if i or others didn't mind him doing so. he retorted by asking whether it was my property. as he raised the blind i decided to call him an inconsiderate kent, to which he enquired as to whether i would like to discuss it outside. i replied "no" and moved.

You should join the Hume Library network. We've got bouncers at the Broady and Cragieburn libraries.

tsk tsk.

the correct response is "Absolutely I would. You go outside and If I'm not there in 5 minutes you start without me"

Another would have been "Look, I apologise for calling you a Kent, I was totally out of line. It's clearly obvious that you have neither the warmth, depth or the capacity to bring pleasure that would be implied by that term"

From my perspective, I'm pissed off I left both my phones at work when I left tonight. Mad

I think you've played this all wrong.

If you're going to call someone a kent, your going to need to back it up... somehow...

If someone wants to whack on at the library, grab the two thickest books and start swinging wildly until you hit him or security saves your ass. Don't grab Mr Men books though - hitting somebody with Mr Uppity and Mr Tickle only makes them angrier.

Lol.

Roget's Thesaurus, hardback edition for short-sighted readers. Those blinds will be staying down for some time.

That's worse than the time the Windies ripped through us in 80s and got us all out for 87. And I thought that team was pathetic. Rolling Eyes
