You'd be a couple of hundred metres lower at Toc, so maybe a couple of degrees warmer, but yep, you know what I'm talking about.

Not to worry: another few months and we will all be bitching about it being over 40 and wishing it was winter again.

By the way, how come you can have a summer's day and you can have a winter's day but you can't have an autumn's day or a spring's day?

I had to poor hot water on the Missus car's door because they were stuck solid with ice at 7.30 this a.m
All my pipes were frozen and the water became unfrozen enough to leave the tap at 9.50, the hot water at 10.15.
It wasn't as cold as the morning before because the cold wasn't on till 10.05 and the hot ....I can't remember when it came on because I'd given on having a shower at 10.15 got dressed and went down and had hot coffee and a pastie at the bakery. (I't all ways warm in the local bakery).

The Missus work just a K or so from Tannins place and she had the day off on friday.
On that day it snowed for a good 1/2 and the place looked like early season Hotham.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
She was mighty happy sitting in front of the fire at home and not running round trying to save most of the nursury's stock from snow damage (with just gardening gloves for protection).
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr X2

Yeah my garden hose/tap obviously doesn't like the cold. Went to leave this morning just after 7 and quickly realised I wasn't driving anywhere with an iced over windscreen. Best I could get out of the hose was a dribble, so I combined running the motor with heater and fan on "cook" while I dribbled water on the glass and scratched at it with my fingernails.

Took a few minutes but got it working so I could see, meanwhile I'm standing there with cold water dribbling on my hands wearing suit pants and a shirt with no jacket or anything else and didn't actually feel cold even though it was 0 on the thermometer.

See I told you early mornings are crap.

Coffee in bed served by the dearly beloved at 0730 snuggle back down with the cats until 8.30 - sauntered out of the house at 0930 by which time it was reasonable!

I don't do ice Razz

Luxury, we used to dream of getting out at 0930.

This week it's been up at 0530 - but I've been lazy, driving not riding. Means I knock off early though most of the time.

Speaking of ice, heaps of methamphetamine psychosis / agitation / anxiety / paranoia recently in the ED.
