The presence of four individuals in the full regalia of an outlaw motorcycle organisation at dawn service in a NSW country town certainly raised a few eyebrows this morning.........

They can go back to the drugs and guns later!

I've known a few bikers in my life and many of them had medals and ribbons pinned on their chests, 1 even had a Military cross.

Back in the day MC clubs were full of ex-servicemen that couldn't re-adjust to civilian life and chose a life that suited their and skills with machinery temperaments.
Sadly most of the founders and many of the early members have passed on or settled down and their places taken by a new generation that sees a fast buck and a Son's of Anarchy image as more important than any other considerations...(you can say that about the rest of society, btb).
but I digress...

To raise eye-brows and presume these blokes have no right to be there goes against everything I believe these day stands for.

ANZAC day is a day for all australian's to show their respect and shouldn't exclude anyone.

I agree 100%.

It was quite bemusing watching how people are in these sorts of circumstances though.

When miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer, it's art and it's music

When I do it I'm "drunk" and I have to "leave bunnings"

Fantastic post! You're spot on with what you've said here.

Bloody Ticketek is pissing me off!

I'm trying to get a ticket for a mate this Friday night against Carlton, preferably in the Ponsford end and it's not allowing me to choose which area I want to sit in. It's only giving me 'categories' of seating and I'm always getting Olympic Stand or Southern Stand seating when attempting to obtain a seat.

Does anyone know whether buying a ticket where the seat is located in the Southern Stand and Olympic Stand for example will still scan successfully if I was to enter the Ponsford End (gate 1)?

Yep. I asked a fellow employee if it would be ok for me to go and move my car. She said it was probably fine, so I did. I was back in less than 5 minutes (this was 12:30 in the morning). She or someone else must have told a manager, because I was called up today and told that leaving the premises during a shift was unacceptable, that as a result they considered me untrustworthy and that my employment would have to be terminated.

I had only been working there for two weeks and was due to have my induction today. I had no idea it was against the rules to leave the building during a shift, particularly considering that one of our nightly jobs (to be completed at least three times between 11pm and 7am) is to walk out to the hotel carpark and check the boiler temperature. During the shift in question my co-worker took several smoke breaks out the front that lasted at least as long. It was a real shock and quite gutting considering how long I'd been looking for a job.
