Ouch. Ugly spot.
Fkn trains. Tonight, someone managed to get hit by a train just a tad north of Ivanhoe station, so emergency services closed the train line.
Got the train to clifton hill and 45 minutes later was standing in a queue of several hundred people waiting for buses to arrive when I managed to flag down a cab.
Much as I'd like to I can't blame Metro trains for that, it would take time to organise buses and drives who weren't rostered on, but what I don't get is why emergency services needed to close the line for so long.
OK, so I heard on the radio it's a crime scene. What evidence do they expect to get? Just take some photos, get the body or what's left of it off the train line and to the morgue, take the driver and any other witnesses out of the road for questioning and let the trains continue FFS.
OK, that might sound cold, but disadvantaging thousands of people doesn't help the person hit by the train in any way. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Do suicides count as crime scenes? I guess they have to be sure it wasn’t assisted. Take a while to clean up properly I’m guessing, you can’t just leave bits.
I used to think that way too, til it was my brother-in-law on the road, no gawkers appreciated. you got home safe. That’s what matters. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I do TP, but there's rain too. Humidity up there with 46 is yuk.
Humidity is 60% now with only 33 degrees and I'm sweating bad _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

I try not to pay attention to this stuff these days, but I couldn't help but notice the million and one stories about Jack Watts doing something totally harmless, So, of course, the machine of manufactured outrage, self-flagellation, hand-wringing, moralism, punishment and public apologies has all cranked into gear, as it must.

Then again, maybe we should listen to Kochie as he is something of an authority on brainlessness. |

There needs to be something each week for people to get morally outraged about otherwise the media would be out of business . _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Landed on my good shoulder at training on Monday, now I have 2 bad shoulders. Xray looked clear on the new one, but 2 endone barely do anything. Hopefully just a bruised bone.

2 faced fkn biatches who are willing to throw mud in all directions and anyone in arm length under a bus to deflect attention from their own incompetancies.
Thankfully I have a very good supportive boss who can see straight through said biatch. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Internet keeps dropping out. I think I either have a fault in the modem, the coax or the splitter.
The Foxtel comes through the same cable and that's working fine. Friday when it played up I pulled the coax connections off and connected the modem straight to the wall plug and it worked, so put everything back the way it was, blowing in each crevice and cranny to make sure no dust, and it came good again. Til today.
Got it working eventually, but got a tech coming out tomorrow to check it out. it's fkn annoying _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
