and tell me, how many times did you listen to the club theme song before you actually would have preferred, shock horror, we are the navy......!!

You know what - there was NO theme song! Just some crap music interrupted every now & then by 'we're busy but will get to you blah blah blah'. Did think of that during my 6:45 minutes on hold, that there was no club song.

My son had his resume done by one of these job placement agencies.

They email it to him, can't find it, not attached to the email.

I log in using his email, ask then to re-send and copy me in. (he was standing there, I didn't hack him)

They send it through next day, FMD, I have to correct their spelling and formatting, save it as a different version and send him that to use.

Fkn paint by numbers eedjits, about as useful and helpful as a back pocket in your undies.

Yeah $50 minimum. Embarassed

Well for a female masseuse at least.

Laughing

If Proto and 5150's ice cream van is involved, $20 is overs. Really brings a whole new meaning to Golden Gaytime and Cornetto, I'll say that much. Just be thankful for the chloroform!

And the cable ties.

$20 gets you the sandpaper surprise.
A fiddy is where the good stuff is, Proto goes topless and the cable ties are thrown in...

WISE employment wanted a single page from me. y the time I listed my qualifications, age etc I had no room for anything else. Needless to say I got nothing from the useless dills and when I mentioned I might have an opening in Indonesia they carried on with "We have helped you facilitate that position if you are successful".

Got spat on, assaulted, bitten (pinched & scratched, had button on my shirt at work ripped and blood saliva all over the front of my shirt by a ice affected shit head in the ED the other week).

Walked into the office where my colleagues were & felt like John wayne & said I fought off 4 of them single handedly!!

Turns out it was his blood as I had called for security (code grey) but the switch board operator whose first language is not english sent the security to the place to the wrong place ( I was very clear).

I had the phucker on the trolley with my forearm over his jaw so he would not spit on me further (thank god I was wearing glasses) & I asked other staff to get a blanket & hold his legs down.

Had security in place but still needed to assess him to make sure he was not going to suicide or kill others (he hand't been assessed but was hostile & nasty to the ED staff & my night shift colleague).

Assessed, escorted off the premises & I'm getting him charged.

Had a long hot shower & made myself a nice pot of tea with real tea leaves & took my time the rest of the shift! ( I was offered to go home but felt I didn't need to)

Fast FWD to recent days & I assess a young man who is suicidal, homeless & penniless. look him up: barely any contact except recently with alerts for: aggression, violence, & multiple past incarcerations. Assessed him in a nice intimate setting with 4 burley security guards Wink (which I often do if there is any hx of risk or aggression / violence hx = history)

People! My family take our dogs for a walk in the bush (virtually our back yard) as often as we can, the other day I see 10-12 smashed up printers scattered around in a 15mt arc that looks like they have been tossed from a trailer or car (about 50mts from the main road). So I go back in my work truck and pick them up and take them into town to a transfer station which was at no cost! So why didn't the people who did this do that? Next day on the same walk but another 400mts further into the bush I come across 3-4 mutilated sheep with bags of unknown stuff (wasn't going to look), then another 200mts down the path more bloody rubbish this time an old heater and the round concrete bases that they grow trees in the middle. Extremely pissed off!! I really hate people some times!

Ouch. And you're a large unit, some of the more petite clinicians would be pushing fecal matter up a steep slope dealing with the ED presentations like that.

I've never had it happen before, so I need to look at how I did things. I ought to have called security first but because I was so busy that morning I may have to do as many assessments as I could and may have put myself at risk. Having said that he was a turd.

I work with a huge experienced mental health nurse who is Maori. He just says "I wouldn't be doing that if I were you" it works most of the time for the aggressive turds.

Funny though, I still needed to assess him before kicking him out to be comfortable that he was not going to harm others or himself. Soon as I established he was snot an immediate risk - vamoosh escorted off by security
