Left ankle seriously shitting me.

As soon as the cool change hit yesterday it decided to start acting up. It's not painful enough to take painkillers, it's just nagging and irritating and chucks in the occasional sharp stabbing pain whenever I forget to walk like an unco retard and try to wall normally.

Walking unnaturally to compensate for the ankle tends to put pressure on my knees, hips and back, which I really don't need so it's like being the recipient of a gang bang, whichever way I look, I'm screwed.

Just finished work having started at bloody 0800 - and still it appears I will have to spend at least a couple of hours over the weekend working!!

I don't get paid overtime - its just expected - bloody public health system!!

I burnt my thumb on Wednesday. Splashed boiling oil on it. Swore profusely under my breath, flushed it under the cold tap for 30 seconds, had a panadol and got on with cooking dinner. By next morning the whole are from thumbnail to knuckle is one bloody great blister.

So I'm out the back earlier ripping down some old stairs to the back deck so I can put up some better ones, swearing and kicking at the stupid dog to get the **** out of the way before I trip over him and drop 45kg of timber on his fat bonce and I managed to burst the blister. &%%&. So much liquid came out I was looking to see if there was a baby on the way.Figure I better get some antiseptic and put a dressing on it so i don't get it infected messing around outside so quick trip to the chemist. Geezus. All I want is some antiseptic, some gauze pads and some tape, this girl took one look at it and is trying to sell me all these bloody burn dressings that cool and reduce pain, I'm not in any fkn pain I just want to keep it clean. I like having a thumb. Goes to fetch the pharmacist, problem solvered. Except now it's all wrapped up I can't fkn bend it which is going to make things fun building the new stairs.
